Nevada Tennis Partner
Randy co-founded Nevada Tennis with Kristine Wymore. Born and raised in Reno, Nevada, Randy grew up aspiring to be a pro tennis player. As a thirteen year old, Randy was sponsored by a gentleman named Bill Ralph who got him started with his first private tennis lessons at the Reno Tennis Center. To continue his training, Randy taught tennis to younger kids and did maintenance at the courts to pay for his lessons. Finding junior training partners locally was a struggle, so Randy turned to accomplished adult players and a local coach who volunteered their time on court to help Randy climb up the NorCal rankings. Randy would go on to play college tennis at University of Nevada Reno where he earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration. In 2006, Randy became a certified USPTA Elite Professional.
Over the years, Randy has enjoyed working with kids of all ages and abilities. Randy’s Passion continues to be helping students reach their tennis goals whether it is making the high school team, college team or just having fun with the sport.
Since becoming the Tennis Director at Caughlin Athletic Club, Randy and Kristine Wymore have been working with the Sierra Junior Tennis Association (SJTA) to create more tennis opportunities for kids in the Reno area. They are currently offering free days for kids and adults in their tennis programs to grow the sport of tennis.
Randy is married to Alexandra and they have a daughter Zoe. When there is free time in the schedule, Randy enjoys brokering real estate, learning Spanish, dancing salsa along with spending time with his friends and family.
